Queen's bath in Princeville, Kauai.Queen's bath has a trail off of Kapiolani Road near Punahele Road just off the main road in Princeville half way to the Princeville resort. Parking is marked along with a trail that shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to walk. Follow the trail to the ocean (moderate grade), walk to the left (North), about 300 yards where you'll see the pool. It looks difficult but I thought it was easy for myself and children to get down the rock wall. Enter from the backside, almost like large stairs and a little climbing down the rock and you're in lower section with easy entry to the pool. I dont recommend diving because you can stand on some rocks that are 4' from the surface, otherwise you're swimming in a very salty safe and fun pool. Bring your mask and enjoy the small fish that share the pool. Everything is lava rock so bring a chair to relax after your swim. We provide backpack style chairs at our house. DANGER in high surf. Several people have been swept away from the mouth of the pool by the ocean due to high surf in the winter months. Be very cautious if there is high surf or better yet, dont go in. You'll find a great waterfall to rinse off in after your swim (pictured below). Trail to Queen's bath
