| Crabbing in
Princeville, Kauai A great way the children can entertain themselves is fishing for crabs in the rocks. Sea lodge beach has tide pools that are easily accessible in the protected shoreline area north of the beach (pictured below). Your tools for fishing the "crab pools" is simply using a stick with 3~4 feet of fishing line and a paper clip on the end. We've found that raw hot dogs work good to attract the crabs, they'll clamp on and wont release the bait. Slowly lift the line and place them in the bucket. Great to play with but not something to take home!  SeaLodge crabbing
